Privacy — what Expat Savvy collects and what happens to it
Privacy
No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts. The only information we hold is what you type into a form and press send on — and you can have it back or have it gone by writing one email.
The short version.
This site has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing about your visit is recorded, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The only personal information we hold is what you type into the booking form and send us deliberately. If you never use the form, we never learn anything about you.
What we collect, and only when you send it.
The booking form asks for your name, your email address, where you live now, where you are going, and anything else you want to tell us. The company enquiry form asks for your company, your name, your work email, and optionally your headcount, the countries your people sit in and your renewal date.
Every field beyond your name and email is optional, and a half-filled form reaches us perfectly well.
Please do not put medical information in the free-text box. We will ask for whatever we need during the consultation, where it can be handled properly.
What happens to it.
Your enquiry is sent to us as an email and lives in our mailbox. We do not copy it into a database or a CRM.
It is read by the advisers named on this site and by nobody else. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or pass it to insurers. We do not add you to a mailing list — if you want to hear from us again, you will have to ask.
If your enquiry leads to us placing cover, information you give us later will be shared with the insurer you choose, because that is what an application is. We will tell you what is being sent before it is sent.
How long we keep it.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Records relating to advice we have actually given are kept for as long as the rules that govern insurance intermediaries require, which is longer than we would otherwise choose.

What you can ask us to do.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@expatsavvy.com and we will do it. There is no form and no process — it is an email to the same people who read your enquiry in the first place.
If you are in the EU or the UK you have these rights under data protection law; if you are elsewhere you have them because we would rather work this way regardless.
No tracking, and how you can check.
We make a specific claim here that most sites cannot: this site loads nothing from anyone else. No fonts from Google, no analytics, no embedded video, no chat widget, no pixel. Every asset is served from this domain.
You do not have to believe us. Open your browser’s network tab and reload any page on this site: every request goes to one place. We check the same thing automatically on every build, and the build fails if it stops being true.
Who is responsible, and how to complain.

If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first — hello@expatsavvy.com — and we will fix it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, and you do not need our permission to do so.
Last updated 2026-08-06. Written to describe what this site actually does rather than what a template says. Two things on this page are still ⟨bracketed⟩ — the responsible entity and the retention period — and both are being confirmed. We would rather show you the gaps than fill them with wording that sounds right.
